HEALTHY BAKERY RECIPE FOR YOUR KIDS.

Is your kid a fussy eater? Do they love to eat cookies picked from the shelfs of upmarket store? We kept on hearing such narratives from the worried parents. In this article, we have shared a cooking recipe which has healthy ingredients in it and can easily be made at home. Also the turnaround time to make the dish is happening in a quick time. Decoration will make it tempting enough that your kids and their friends will be asking for it more and more. So now time has come to take the rabbit out of hat, today let’s try our hands in making Choco oat muffins which have low fat content.

Before start baking the muffins, soak 1 cup of old fashioned oats in 1 cup of milk for about an hour. As the first thing, highly recommend to pre heat the oven.

As the next step grease the muffin pan.

Mix the wet ingredients well – Mix the oat mixture prepared above with the 2/3 cups of unsweetened applesauce and 2 eggs. Mix it well.

Mix the dry ingredients well – Separately, whisk the following dry ingredients.

Whole wheat flour – 1 cup

Brown sugar blended – 2⁄3 cup

Baking powder – 1 tsp

Baking soda – 1/2 tsp

Unsweetened cocoa powder – 4 -6 tsp

Salt – 1/2 tsp

Combine the wet & dry ingredients. Add around 1 cup of the chocolate chips. Please note: Do not over-mix the batter else the muffins will be tough.

Pour the mixture into the muffin pan. 20-25 mins of baking should just be fine. You have very healthy Choco oat muffins ready to eat and serve. Ingredients suggested is good enough to make 12 numbers of normal sized muffins.
